We are no longer accepting applications for adult dogs under 30 lbs. 

Large-breed dogs account for the vast majority of shelter euthanasia due to severe overcrowding, length of stay, and space constraints. Large dogs are estimated to be up to 70% more likely to be euthanized in shelters than small dogs.

Dogs under 30 lbs move through shelters much faster because they are highly sought after by adopters, face fewer rental housing restrictions and require less space. Breed bans also do not apply to small breed dogs.
